I am currently available Thursdays and weekday evenings.
I offer telephone and online therapy (via zoom) for short-term, long-term and open-ended therapy. Short-term may be between 6-12 sessions, long-term six months plus and open-ended with regular reviews.
I charge £45 per session and each session lasts 50 minutes.
About me and my therapy practice
Hello – my name’s Gavita. I believe that therapy can be a life-changing experience to enhance your self-awareness and self-understanding. We all face hardships and difficulties at points in our lives and it’s not easy owning that we can’t always face this alone, but seeking therapy is a brave step and may be the first needed to initiate change.
If you currently feel like you’re at a stage where you would like to (and feel ready to) get help and support, I am here to explore this with you. Are you feeling like you’re behaving in ways that you don’t understand, you’re unable to sleep, or you can’t stop overthinking? Are experiences from the past stopping you from moving forward? Do you struggle with low self-esteem, low self-worth or a lack of confidence?

I offer a confidential, comfortable and compassionate space to listen to, explore and understand your concerns on a deeper and psychological level. Therapy is a collaborative journey and I value trust and honesty to be at the heart of the therapeutic relationship.
I am an integratively trained therapist drawing on numerous approaches to Psychotherapy (including Psychodynamic, Existential and CBT) and so will incorporate aspects which are most helpful to you as an individual.
I’ve had previous experience working within GP practices and IAPT and have worked with depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship issues, pregnancy-related issues, cultural issues and long-term illnesses.
My first sessionOur first session together will involve an assessment which will allow me to gain an understanding of your present concerns and what you would like to achieve from therapy. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask me any questions and for us to decide if we’d like to begin therapy together.
