About me and my therapy practice

I am a professional psychotherapist and counsellor, trained to listen and help you explore and reflect on issues such as anxiety, panic, stress, anger, low self-esteem and depression. If you are trying to come to terms with bereavement, trauma or childhood sexual abuse, these are all areas that we can address at a pace to suit you.  I am a registered member of both BACP and UKCP.

Together we can work out the best way to address your difficulties, whether you want to work short term, or for a longer period to address more complex issues.

We can all benefit from support to make changes to improve the quality of our lives, alter perspectives and gain awareness of our habitual patterns. I believe that therapy should be a positive encounter, and from my own experience I know that it can also be life changing.

As well as my private practice, I have worked in the student counselling service at Royal Holloway, at an NHS psychotherapy clinic in South East London,  at the Camden, City, Islington and Westminster Bereavement Service, and as a counsellor with Childline and with Mind in Camden.

I have a particular interest in offering therapeutic support regarding fertility and IVF, pregnancy and birth and postnatal concerns, and have a Diploma in Advanced Specialist Fertility Counselling, awarded by the National Fertility Society.

Practice description

I have changed to online counselling only during the current period of restricted movement.

I am happy to offer support for any difficulties caused by the current Covid-19 crisis, whether they are anxiety related or more practical issues.
