About me and my therapy practice
I support women who have survived childhood sexual abuse, neglect, and rape to process trauma and reclaim their lives.
Trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or weighed down by fear, sadness, or self-doubt. Relationships, trust, and even daily life can feel challenging or unmanageable. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to begin the healing process.
Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you make sense of your feelings and experiences without judgement. Trauma therapy offers a space to process the weight of the past, manage the challenges of the present, and rediscover a life that feels meaningful and authentic to you. Whether you're seeking to feel safer in yourself, rebuild relationships, or simply find more peace in your day-to-day life, we’ll work towards creating the change that matters most to you.
If you’re ready to take the first step, I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or online. You don’t have to face this alone—healing is possible, and I would be honoured to support you on this journey.
Practice description
My practice provides a safe, confidential, and welcoming space for women seeking support to overcome challenges and create meaningful change in their lives.
I work in an integrative way, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. This means therapy is guided by your experiences, goals, and what feels most supportive for your journey. Whether you want to process past trauma, manage overwhelming emotions, or rebuild a sense of trust and connection, we will work together to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Our sessions take place in a private, tranquil room within my home. This detached space, with a separate entrance, ensures a comfortable and discreet environment where you can feel at ease. Your privacy and confidentiality are my priority, and the peaceful setting supports us in creating a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I also offer online therapy, allowing you to access support from wherever you feel most comfortable. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into your life, no matter your schedule or location.
Therapy is a personal and collaborative process, and my aim is to provide a space where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported. If you’re ready to take the first step, I’d be honoured to work alongside you.
My first session
I offer a free initial 15-minute consultation, which can be conducted online or over the phone.
This brief session is an opportunity for us to discuss your concerns, explore what you're looking for from therapy, and consider whether working together feels like the right fit. It's also a chance for you to ask any questions about the process and share anything you'd like me to know before starting.
Following this, regular sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly. During the first few sessions, I’ll listen carefully and ask questions to better understand your experiences, challenges, and goals. This helps us build a foundation of trust and clarity for our work together.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy, meaning that your preferences, pace, and comfort are at the centre of everything we do. The therapeutic process is shaped by you, and I am here to support you in a way that feels safe, respectful, and meaningful.
