About me and my therapy practice
Each and every one of us will at some point in our lives face difficulties and challenges that we find hard to deal with – be that experiencing periods of feeling ‘stuck’, anxious, depressed, low or angry; experiencing conflicts in our relationships with others, suffering a loss; or being impacted by past events which still affect how we cope with life today.
Through my counselling skills, I can work with you to help you identify, face, and overcome those feelings and issues that you may be struggling to navigate on your own, in a safe and collaborative environment.
I have considerable experience in dealing with clients with a wide range of differing needs and achieving excellent results and client feedback.

I have lived in several different countries and experienced different cultures. That has enabled me to appreciate ways of living and perspectives different from my own. I have learnt not to be judgmental, and to respect people with different ideas and backgrounds.
However, I found the constant upheaval in moving from country to country challenging as well as deeply enriching. Feeling constantly responsible for helping my family and myself to adjust to different settings took a toll on me. I therefore sought counselling, which helped me enormously, and which eventually led me to decide to train as a counsellor myself. The transformative power of therapy enhanced my resilience and increased my self-awareness. The work I have done on myself, with the support of my therapists, has really paid off, as I now feel much happier and fulfilled. I want to help others benefit from therapy as much as I have done.
I am an integrative counsellor and draw on a wide range of counselling approaches to achieve results. I work empathically with my clients in the belief that, with the right help, each person can fulfil their potential and achieve their goals.
