All initial sessions will take place online or by telephone, giving us an opportunity to discuss in-person sessions moving forward. There are some considerations regarding covid-safety for in-person sessions and a small amount of paperwork that i will send you in advance of meeting.

Please contact me for further information.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist practising in Bristol and Stroud, Gloucestershire. I hold an MSc Integrative Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute, alongside two PG Diplomas in Psychotherapy and Counselling.

I am experienced in working with clients who bring a range of material including: anxiety and depression, relationship challenges, family matters, addictions, loss and grief, trauma, childhood struggles, low self-esteem and grappling with a desire for change and direction.

I am an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP Membership Number: 2011170375), and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP, Accred). Alongside my private practice,  I currently work as an assessor and therapist at the Gloucestershire Counselling Service, as a student therapist at dBs Music and as an EAP therapist . I have experience of working in clinical settings in the mental health and statutory sectors, including the NHS.

My approach is to work with what you bring. As an integrative practitioner, I will apply my skills and theoretical understanding in relational psychoanalysis, alongside contextual, transpersonal and humanistic influences in working alongside you.

Initially, I offer phone and/or email contact and welcome any questions you have. If we decide to proceed, an initial session will be arranged, lasting up to 50 minutes. This will give us an opportunity to meet each other and and reflect on how counselling can be of help to you. We can then decide to proceed to a weekly arrangement when a regular session day and time is set aside for you.

I work in an open-ended way, which means I do not limit the number of sessions offered and we can review the therapy as we go along. I also have experience of working on a shorter-term basis for a fixed number of sessions (usually between 6-12).

Practice description

I run private practice in Bristol and Stroud from centrally located rooms with nearby parking and close to public transport links.

I offer EAP (Employee Assistance) counselling through companies.

I work freelance as a student therapist for a music college in Bristol, as an EAP therapist and as a therapist and assessor for Gloucestershire Counselling Service.
