About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified counsellor who offers a safe, confidential space for you to explore difficulties or concerns that you may be experiencing.

I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgemental environment to support you in understanding what is happening in your life and relationships, and how you want to move forward.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)

Practice description

During therapy sessions we will be able to talk through your concerns confidentially, and will work on them in a safe environment.

I have worked with clients who have experienced bereavement and loss, anxiety, low mood, difficult or abusive childhood experiences and many other situations, for over 20 years. Initially as a qualified social worker, and more recently as a qualified counsellor.

My therapy room is a calm, peaceful space. It is in Canterbury and is 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre. The therapy room is wheelchair accessible and also has access to toilet facilities.

I am also able to work online or on the telephone if you would feel more comfortable with that.

Counselling sessions are for 50 minutes each, and the cost is £40. We would usually meet once a week, but this can be adapted according to your needs.

My first session

I offer a free initial 20 minute session for you to come to meet me, and we can talk through what you want to focus on in counselling sessions.

I know that finding a therapist that you feel comfortable and safe with is very important. This will be an opportunity to see if I might be the right therapist for you.
