About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to my counselling service where I provide an initial free half hour telephone/face to face consultation so that I can tailor the right support for your needs and for you to be able to ask me questions about my practice. I see clients from the age of 16 upwards. I work using an integrated model of counselling, which means, I am trained to adapt therapy according to my clients needs by bringing together different elements of specific therapies. To give guidance, and to stimulate discussion with my younger clients and those with additional needs and learning disabilities, I use CORE outcome measure forms throughout our counselling sessions. It is intended as a guide, to be used and adapted in line with my clinical practice and in the context of the intervention with the young people and families with whom I am working with and I offer a full review after six counselling sessions. Sessions are 60 minutes in length, long/short term weekly/fortnightly sessions incl. top-up and adhoc. Counselling sessions can be arranged via telephone and email.
At my home counselling practice near Hindhead, face to face sessions have resumed with COVID-19 safety measures in place.
I continue to offer online counselling via Zoom, Teams and telephone. I also offer walk and talk sessions and care/home/residential visits (extra petrol costs charged).
£50 per hourly session
£35 concession for students / unemployed / keyworkers / emergency service employees.
£80 per 1.5 hourly Couples / Group family session
Extended counselling sessions are available upon request with additional fee.
Payment: Cash on the day or BAC’s payments are accepted prior to sessions as per counselling contract.
My first session
Prior to first session: free half hour telephone or face to face consultation. If you feel happy to proceed, I will send you an email with additional information in my counselling contract, we then arrange your first counselling session.
Each session is 60 minutes long. With prior arrangement I offer extended sessions for individuals and families / weekly / fortnightly and adhoc sessions are also available.
In your first session, I will spend the first few minutes outlining the counselling framework and confidentiality policy and then we might begin to explore what has bought you to therapy.
