B.Sc.(Hons), Dip.Therapeutic Counselling, MBACP Registered
Advanced Specialist Bereavement Support Training with the National Counselling Society.
I have extensive experience dealing with trauma and bereavement, having been a Registered Midwife and Registered General Nurse for over 30 years. I can offer specialist support to those who have experienced miscarriage, pregnancy loss and obstetric complications, IVF, menopause, anxiety, tocophobia (extreme fear of giving birth), prenatal depression and postnatal depression.
Long and short term therapy offered.
Covid / Coronavirus related issues including isolation, separation, anxiety and work issues.
I cover all of the UK by Zoom, Skype or telephone.
My consulting room is in Southbourne, Bournemouth
My first session
I will arrange a phone call or zoom call so we can have a brief chat. Following this, I will book an initial assessment with you so see how we might best spend our time together. After 6 sessions we will have a review to see how we are doing and whether you want to continue. This gives me an idea whether our goals are being met for you.
