About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for visiting my page. I am a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor providing counselling in Kentish Town or by zoom.
Is there an area of your like that you are not entirely happy about? Talking to someone who is independent, impartial and empathetic can help you make sense of what is going on for you.
Whatever you are going through, whether it is Self esteem and confidence, anxiety, depression, bereavement or relationship issues, talking with a counsellor can help you make the right decisions for you.
I have worked with bereavement, working with depression, abuse (sexual, physical, emotional and financial) anxiety and stress. My main interests and expertise are helping people through significant change, working to realise their potential and working towards self acceptance.
I have worked with depression, abuse (sexual, physical, emotional and financial) or anxiety, guilt, drug-use, relationships, body dysmorphia, suicidal ideation, bereavement & loss, self-esteem and confidence, anxiety, endings – abrupt and planned, Relationship break-up, Self-harm, Parental separation and relationship, Stuck-ness and inertia, Asperger’s, OCD and sexuality issues.
I am also a practitioner of mindfulness and meditation and always endeavour to work holistically. I very much enjoy relating with clients from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I offer my clients strict confidentiality and a quiet and comfortable private room in which to meet . I can also meet by zoom
I abide by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Code of Ethics.
I am to be a caring and empathic witness to your life. I work holistically taking on board a number of different theoretical framework. The theories I use are:
Psychodynamic - reflects upon how our experiences of the past impact upon us in the present.
Humanistic - allows us to focus on your feelings in the here and now.
At the centre of this is the therapeutic relationship we can build.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity to ask me any questions you may have about how I work. I will also ask why you feel you need counselling at this time.
In preparation for the first session, I will ask you to complete an assessment form so that I can support you as much as possible. This is kept strictly confidential.
The first session is a reduced rate of £25
