About me and my therapy practice
Counselling is an opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings which might be affecting many different areas of life. With careful listening I endeavour to support you in finding your own way through what is often complex and difficult to manage alone. Difficulties can feel overwhelming and although family and friends mean well, they can’t always offer the support we need, this is when talking to an experienced and skilled professional, can make a big difference.
I endeavour to respect the specific needs and personal culture of each individual. I am experienced in open ended, long term and time limited counselling, I work with individuals, young people 16 and over and adults of all ages. My ethnic origin is white British however my immediate family are dual heritage, I have a special interest in interculturism.
The premises I practice from are warm and comfortable with on street parking and 2 minutes walk from a bus stop in the Nether Edge area of south west Sheffield, which is easily reached from Derbyshire. Sessions are for 50 minutes.
