About me and my therapy practice

I am currently away from practice until 29th July.

It isn't easy taking those first steps towards counselling, but I can offer warm and approachable, safe and contained weekly 50-minute sessions.

Facing those unlit corners can feel scary. Difficult childhoods, relationship problems, loss and bereavement can hold us back and how we deal with life is greatly influenced by the way we feel about ourselves, our sense of self-worth, confidence and mood.

In working through current struggles and addressing difficulties rooted in the past, together we can begin a gradual exploration of deeper conflicts, pain and shame, in order to bring a more coherent understanding. This journey together helps bring about a deeper level of awareness and self-acceptance and more meaning back into everyday life.

I hold a clinical practice in St Albans, Radlett and Kings Langley, working with individuals with a wide range of issues. I offer Short-Term (8 - 16 weeks), or Open-Ended Counselling which gives us the chance to look more closely at deep-seated emotional issues.

As well as working with adults in the charitable sector and in private practice, I have a background in education and working as a School Counsellor and Mentor.

I hold a full professional indemnity and public liability insurance and have an up to date DBS certificate.

I am happy to answer any questions via phone or email and if you leave a message, I will try to respond within 24 hours.
