About me and my therapy practice
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist.
I work in-depth, addressing the unconscious and defence patterns developed in early childhood to think about dynamics in current and past relationships, with both ourselves and others.
I completed my MSc in psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Birkbeck College.
I am currently undertaking a CPD course at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in Psychoanalytic Ideas on Violence, Delinquency and Sexual Deviation.
I have extensive experience working in Mental Health within the charity sector and the NHS.
My first session
In the first session we will go through some assessment questions so I can learn about you, your story and what you are hoping to gain from counselling.
I like to consider the first session an opportunity for you to explore your feelings about being in therapy and how you feel about working with me as your therapist.
