About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centred Therapist and Supervisor. I work from a safe , convenient location in Rubery , South Birmingham.
I worked with Healthy Gay Life for several years working within the LGBTQIA+ community. I understand how important finding the right counsellor can be within the community. I work with issues such as sexual identity , gender identity , coming out , cross cultural relationships. I am passionate about working with Identity in all aspects including sexuality , gender , race , social class etc.
Other issues I work with are low mood, depression ,anxiety , stress , low self esteem , acquired brain injury and bereavement. I have had experience of working with bereavement with Solihull Bereavement Counselling Service. I understand that talking may be difficult and can use creative methods of therapy such as art or writing if its appropriate.
I offer concessions to student counsellors.
