About me and my therapy practice
I am a positive focused, proactive counsellor, working with individuals and couples, and a cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT). CBT is recommended by nice guidelines for all anxiety conditions and, having worked for the NHS as a CBT therapist for many years, I have a great deal of experience of general anxiety, phobias, OCD, health anxiety, and social anxiety. I also work with all traumas including post traumatic stress disorder and childhood trauma, and depression, as well as self development/evaluation and understanding. My aim in my practice is to help people make positive changes in their lives, and to understand the difficulties they are facing and how to address them. I am always led by my clients and focused on what they want to achieve. Together we can make a difference to help you live the life you want to be living. I am an experienced psychotherapist with over 20 years working in Counselling and over 10 years as a cognitive behavioural therapist.
