About me and my therapy practice
Hi there and thanks for viewing my profile. I’m Pam and I’m a fully qualified, and accredited BACP registered counsellor, with experience working in the NHS, Counselling charities, and private practice.
My interest into the mind first began as a young adult. I discovered how profound the difficulties associated with mental health can be, not to mention the stigma that can surround asking for help. I often found myself being the person that family and friends came to, when they were in need of a listening ear and thats when I started asking myself these questions:
Why do we do the things we do?
What influences our behaviours?
How do we control our behaviours and feelings?
How do we cope in certain situations?
How do our feelings affect our lives?
What makes us who we are?
With these questions fresh in my mind, I sought out a course that would help me gain a better understanding of the mind and how to help others with similar questions.
We all deserve peace of mind, but sometimes things happen that can cause disharmony. When this is the case often all we need to get back on track is a safe place to share and someone willing to listen. Here at Peace Of Mind Counselling, I offer a high quality, safe, none judgemental service, for people from all walks of life.
If you live in Redditch, or the surrounding areas and deal with any of the following you might benefit from my service:
Anxiety
Depression
Grief
Relationship difficulties
Adjustment to a physical diagnosis
And much more.
It can be daunting taking those first steps to get help but rest assured, you will be welcomed with a smile and a friendly person centred approach, to help you feel as comfortable as you can be.
So allow me to help you on a journey to find your own peace of mind!
