About me and my therapy practiceSometimes life is hard. I recognise that we are all unique and your reasons for seeking therapy will be as individual as you. As an Integrative Counsellor I can help you find ways of coping with traumatic experiences, managing harmful emotions and behaviours and manage anxiety and/or depression in ways that resonate with you. I believe that we are all unique and so should be our approach to therapy.
An Integrative approach to therapy includes; CBT, Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches to therapy. An integrative approach values individuality and supports that there is not a 'one size fits all' approach to therapy. Whilst these theories and techniques are important and enhance me professionally, it is the therapeutic relationship which you and I build that will become central to the therapy, which is why it is so important to find a therapist you feel you can build this relationship with. I aim to create a safe space in therapy where you feel validated, heard and seen.
