As a qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) my aim is to help you feel the best you can whilst dealing with life’s difficulties. Whether or not you have experienced counselling before, the process of finding a therapist can feel daunting. I provide support that is confidential, trusting and non-judgemental.
Please contact me and we can have a brief conversation or exchange of emails. We can then arrange an initial session to get to know each other and find out whether the support I offer would be useful to you.
During our initial assessment I will listen to your reasons for seeking counselling, share your worries, assess your needs, explain confidentiality, explore how therapy could help you and answer any questions you may have. This will allow us to get to know each other briefly, find out whether the support I offer would be useful to you and explore whether there is a sense of connection. I believe the most therapeutic benefit to a client is the relationship we can build in the therapy room.
Some of the areas that I have experience and interest in include anxiety, depression, bereavement, abuse, stress, relationships, separation/divorce, esteem issues and trauma.
I offer a free initial telephone consultation with following sessions ranging from £50-£70.
