Therapist - London

London SW6
Sessions from £75.00

  • Concessionary rates

I work online from Monday to Thursday and seek to find the best times that work regularly for each client. Sessions last 50 minutes and are in person in Fulham (SW6 3PA) or Wimbledon (SW19 1RQ) or online.

About me and my therapy practice

I work relationally to help each client feel fully seen and understood. I work collaboratively with clients to make sense of what is going on and what this may mean.

I help you to access compassion and acceptance to find respite and new ways of looking at the challenges that life can bring for us.

In the early stages of working together, we may focus on what is challenging right now and ways to help you manage in the moment and stay regulated. In longer term working, we could also look at the impact of past relational and other experiences to identify how these could be shaping your feelings today to enable you to make different choices about coping strategies. For many clients, especially neurodivergent clients, the focus may include considering changes in the environment around the client to make life easier.

My areas of specialism include neurodivergence affirming therapy, anxiety, resolving attachment difficulties, bereavement, depression, trauma, and working with parents or carers of children or adults with additional support needs.

I suggest we have an initial 15 minute call (free and no obligation) so that you can share more about what you are hoping for from counselling and we can discuss how we would work together.

Practice description

I work with clients on a long term basis especially where there is a desire to address trauma or attachment difficulties and suggest a minimum of 8 sessions.

My first session

Before arranging a first session, I suggest a free initial 15 minute conversation online or by phone to discuss how we might work together.

In our first session we would explore your hopes and goals for therapy and what has brought you to therapy at this time. It is a chance for you to ask any questions you have about how I work or what therapy could involve.
