About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative, humanistic counsellor, meaning that I work with a number of theories to make your experience more personal and tailor-made. I know from my own personal and professional experience that counselling can seem daunting at first. Yet being able to talk freely and without judgement in an accepting, genuine and empathetic therapeutic relationship can offer great healing and personal growth. I will be asking you to trust in me to support you through exploration of your issue(s), in your own time. There is no need to rush as I will work to your time scale.

I am warm, genuine and accepting and will not shy away from what you wish to share; I will ‘hold’ the space as presenting issues are explored. I have a wide range of experience with a particular interest in; sexual identity, bereavement, trauma, dissociation, abuse (mental, physical and sexual), neglect, suicidal ideation and self-harm.

If you feel that an impartial, therapeutic relationship could be of help, then I ask that you get in contact even (or especially) if it seems daunting.
