About me and my therapy practice
At times, we feel sad, lonely, angry or dissatisfied with life. We can't work out why, or how to get out of that feeling.
By working together, we can explore some of these feelings with the aim of bringing about change through a greater awareness of yourself.
This happens by talking about things that don't make sense, or that make you sad, afraid or angry. By exploring these feelings together, you can identify and express them, and understand a bit more about what you are experiencing.
Building a confidential, respectful and non judgmental relationship is key to our work. We work at your pace so you can find your own way forward with the things that matter to you.
I believe that getting to know yourself better can lead to increased confidence and control over your life, build resilience to manage difficult situations and enable you to make the decisions that are important and right for you.
One client told me, 'I feel I can look forward instead of to the past,' (Testimonial by RJ), and another, 'I have been sleeping for years, now I'm waking up.' (LT).
I look forward to meeting you and working together.

About me and my therapy practice
'Just being able to talk made so much difference...,' (Testimonial by SS), 'It was like a weight being lifted...,' (OL), 'I got the tools I need to manage my depression.' (LB)
These are some of the things clients have told me during or after counselling. Talking with someone who can really hear what you are saying can really make a difference.
There are times when we feel anxious or sad, frustrated or dissatisfied, trapped or alone, but when these feelings seem to take over our life, it can have a big impact on our well-being and happiness, making us feel unvalued and helpless. It can be hard to connect with our thoughts and feelings, making it hard to connect with people at home, at work and in our social life.
We can become so used to being a certain way that we don’t necessarily think about it, preventing us living life to the full. We can lose our sense of who we are and where we are going in life.
By working together, we can explore some of these feelings with the aim of bringing about change through a greater awareness of yourself.
