About me and my therapy practice
I practice person centred values and I will follow your direction, whilst honouring my values and boundaries as a professional therapist. I strive to empathise, accept you as you are, without judgement and opinions. My aim is to bear witness to your experiences and share honest reflections. I do my best to put myself in your shoes, to understand your experience and support you in uncovering new personal meanings.
I believe that the process of naming and acknowledging an experience can help with accepting it and working through it. I will keep you company through your explorations, to support your sense of safety and well-being.
I am also a trained coach and mentor, who specialises in supporting neurodivergence.
Practice description
I have experience in working with young adults and adults; with gender issues, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ issues, addiction, racial issues, abuse and trauma (PTSD).
My intention as a therapist is to facilitate an experience of being in a therapeutic relationship, with trust, building on a sense of agency, and autonomy; in a safe space, to explore life experiences within a genuine and professional relationship, with boundaries, but without expectations – where you are free to be you.
My hope for any client is, to become better acquainted with your truest sense of who you are, to develop sustainable independent self-care practices (that work for you), in support of greater alignment between yourself and your experience of the world.
