About me and my therapy practice
I have a broad range of experience working with adults and young people, all with a range of different reasons for wanting to access counselling.
The first time we meet is an opportunity for us to discuss why you wish to access counselling and how counselling might help. The relationship between the client and counsellor is paramount in effective therapy, and we must both feel that I am the right counsellor for you.
In addition to home visits, I am also able to offer single session counselling sessions of 90 and 120 minutes. A single session can give you the time and space to talk about specific problems and consider your future plans. After an initial single session, you might decide that you would like on-going sessions. Any additional sessions can be either a limited number or longer term.
Currently I am able to visit clients within a 20 mile radius of Thrapston, Northamptonshire, but I hope to be able to increase this in the future. If in any doubt then please contact me to discuss.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I abide by their ethical framework. I am registered with the Government DBS update service and hold an enhanced DBS. I maintain professional indemnity insurance.
