About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced clinical supervisor and I work with a diverse group of therapists - both qualified and those who are training within educational establishments.
In my opinion, supervision is a collaborative process in which I work with the supervisee to explore their work reflectively.
I provide supervision through a variety of platforms - face to face, online and telephone.
I provide a comprehensive contract with all my supervisees.
When a report(s) is required by the educational establishments there will be a charge for this.
Practice description
I take a supportive view towards supervision, ensuring that the work I undertake is in line with the ethical framework.
In my view, supervision is a collaborative process and as the supervisor, I work with each supervisee to explore their work reflectively. The key to our relationship is a good rapport and a working alliance. In this way, I aim to promote and share good practice along with confidence by ensuring a safer working environment, promoting competence and evaluative practice.
Ultimately, this will lead to greater autonomy for the supervisee, enabling them to feel supported and to identify, accept and develop personal areas for development as a practitioner.
My first session
Initial sessions are usually undertaken via telephone conversation to assess compatibility and availability.
