About me and my therapy practice
Hello .. I offer a confidential and supportive environment to explore whatever you need to talk through. With the combination of working together, a psychosocial/humanistic approach and my knowledge and experience, our therapy can bring a meaningful resolution and lasting change to your challenges.
I offer you transparency, maturity, direction, a trusting relationship and integrity, wrapped in a client centred framework. My focus is to work alongside that which you seek to change, process or make sense of, and to strengthen your inner resources. For positive effectiveness, I provide an adaptable professional skills set to suit your individuality, helping us to gain a clearer understanding of what underpins your conflict. Behind my private therapy practice, is the integration of 13 years professional work experience and continuing training. As well as a Coordinator of a Mental Health Crisis Service, my employed and self employed positions as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist are anchored in reputable organisations and services, across which I have provided therapeutic support for both familiar and complex issues from work related stress through to childhood sexual/ritual abuse.
It is my work ethic to engage a maintainable client base. My profile is here to give you an insight of me as a professional therapist and my approach to this role for which I encourage a ‘collaborative working together philosophy.’

I continue to offer Zoom and Telephone interactions. Face to face clients would meet at my independent practice situated conveniently close to the City centre of Manchester. The environment is comfortable and safe and conforms to the latest Covid safety guidelines. Should you be interested to talk about your situation with me, and to have a more personalised connection, I recommend a no-pressure 20 - 30 minute phone consultation where we can talk freely and address questions you may have.

My first session
As the therapeutic relationship is one in which you are investing with me. It is necessary that I recognise what you want from your therapy journey so we don't waste the valued time you are putting in to yourself. The initial session can be anxiety provoking .. though I hope here, you can establish if this is where you want to be. It is an evaluation of what outcome you want, how you got to this point and to learn if what insights and approaches I have to offer will work for you. Whether you are familiar to Counselling therapy or not, my interest is in learning how I can best serve what outcome you want - which is an ongoing goal of our work together.
