About me and my therapy practice

Drawing from experience I know that looking for a counsellor can be hard. I made the information available here as straightforward as I could. Once you contact me we set up a reduced rate initial session with no obligation to continue. It will be a chance for us to see what brings you to counselling and explore the possibility of working together.

Starting counselling is an empowering step. I see one of my tasks as helping you to feel at ease, providing you with an intentional space set aside to reflect on how you're doing and where you're heading in your life.

I pay sensitive attention to difference, an appreciation of diversity is central to my practice and fundamental to my personal life.

I’m a professionally trained and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice and I am bound by the Ethical Code of the Gestalt Centre, London. I attend regular clinical supervision and I'm committed to client confidentiality and continuing professional and personal development. I'm also an Associate Member of the UK Association for Gestalt Practitioners (UKAGP).

I have experience working with people whose difficulties are around their identities as well as with people whose identities are completely incidental to what they wish to seek support for. I'm passionate about seeing people becoming who they are and integrating parts of themselves they previously haven't accepted.

Outside of private practice, I'm currently involved in research.

I work bilingually in English and in Hungarian.
