Are you experiencing unwanted, negative feelings, which are stopping you from living your best life? If so, I empower you to get in touch and together we can explore ways in which you can deal with current or past life experiences, which are making you feel this sense of unease. You may just want to talk, or maybe you wish to achieve a goal.. we will discuss what you want to get out of counselling during our first session.
I will offer you a completely confidential space to talk and will listen without any judgement to help you to find peace and move forward from this negative feelings which you are experiencing. I am a person-centred counsellor, which means I will not give advice because you already hold the answers to your issues - you just need some help in finding them!
Life can be difficult and we can experience some troubling events throughout our journey, which can take hold of us and make us feel anxious, guilty, shameful, depressed etc. Sharing and exploring your true thoughts and feelings with somebody completely neutral and non judgemental, can often help you to free yourself of these negative feelings.
Whatever your issue, counselling can usually help in some way!
About me and my therapy practice
I am a person centred therapist, which means during your sessions, I will be completely led by you and listen to whatever is on your mind, without judgement and with complete confidentiality. Whilst I cannot offer you advice, I can certainly work with you to find solutions or to achieve personal goals. You may have past traumas, grief or other issues which you have never faced or talked about before. Together we can help you to come to terms with things so you are able to live a more settled life.
I can offer evening and weekend appointments for flexibility.
I use a discrete cabin in Stamford for those who wish to have face to face sessions.
I offer walking therapy if you are local to Stamford/Rutland.
Online or telephone sessions are also available.
My first session
Prior to a session I will give you a call or message you and ask you to complete a quick assessment form and send out a contract setting out boundaries and my code of practice.
