About me and my therapy practice
I offer a friendly and accepting approach to open ended (which means you decide when to finish) Person Centred therapy. I may also incorporate some other theories which you may find helpful to your specific needs. My approach to therapy allows me to listen deeply to your concerns without judgement and help you to speak freely about what it is you are struggling with, without bias or opinion. Some clients find working with metaphors and sharing life stories very helpful when working through long-held thoughts and beliefs.
I am currently exclusively working online via Zoom and if you have not used this software before, I will provide a 'How to' guidance sheet which explains how to connect this way. You will need access to the internet and a device such as ; a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile smart phone. Existing clients have found this facility easy to use and very flexible even if they are not used to using technology. When I return to face-to-face therapy, I practice from a Clarity Wellbeing Clinic in Nuneaton town centre, which has discreet access and parking nearby.
My first sessionWhen you have made contact initially via email or telephone message, I will contact you to book a free of charge telephone call (please allow up to 20 minutes) to ascertain if I can be of assistance to you. This call is to establish a brief idea of what your concerns are and, if appropriate, book a convenient online appointment time. During this initial call you will be able to ask further questions and decide whether what I offer will suit your needs
