About me and my therapy practice
My name is Elliot Chapman. I am a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I adhere to the BACP ethical framework, and provide a safe, confidential and nonjudgemental space for individuals to explore their experiences and emotions.
I am experienced in working with a number of people from a wide range of backgrounds and with a range of problems such as depression , anxiety, relationship issues, anger, low self worth and stress.
I believe that everyone has their own unique journey and experiences, and as a result, therapy should be attuned to the individual. As a counsellor I work with individuals to help them gain greater insight into their inner and outer worlds, their relationships and develop more understanding of their behaviours and emotions.
My practice is a safe, private and confidential space, consisting of private face to face sessions at the Turner Centre in Colchester, Telephone Counselling and also online therapy via Zoom.
My first session
My first session is private and confidential , and is opportunity for me to find out more about you and what you are looking for from counselling and assess whether or not we feel we can work together going forward. After the first session there is no obligation to continue on with the therapy.
