About me and my therapy practice

Hi my name is Emma and I am a qualified Counsellor in person centred and psycho-dynamic therapies. I am an empathetic, congruent and non judgmental counsellor, who likes to support my clients through times in my clients life's when they need additional support through a counsellor.

I practice in my own home so in a relaxed, comfortable and confidential space. Where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour freely with the confidence of my guidance and support.

I believe that counselling is a purposeful relationship in which one person supports another to help themselves. It is an activity of listening and responding which encourages exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviour in order to get a clearer self-understanding. This process can enable clients to find and use their strengths so that they can more effectively manage their lifes.
