About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong in our lives. Equally, you may know what’s wrong, but not necessarily how to go about changing things. I think it is important to recognise that no two people are the same, and I utilise my skills and training to customise counselling sessions in a collaborative way. I provide a non-judgemental, safe, confidential and therapeutic space where we can better understand what’s going on for you and explore ways to create or restore balance in your life.
I have experience working with a wide variety of presenting problems including: low mood, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, trauma and couples counselling. I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working with Attachment theory, Person- Centred therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I understand it can be a little daunting reaching out and talking about things that may be very personal, however it might be just what you need to do.
I work within two private practices in Leicester city centre and can also offer remote sessions (telephone and online video calls). I offer concessions for students and also “blue light card” holders (subject to availability).
