About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative psychotherapist which means that I draw from a range of theoretical perspectives about therapy including existential, psychodynamic and humanistic.
Most of all, however, I aim to provide a safe confidential space for clients to explore the difficulties that they are faced with in a relationship which is accepting.
I am also a qualified coach.
You may be considering therapy as a result of a very specific difficulty such a relationship issues, a bereavement or low self esteem, or you may be struggling to deal with the day to day difficulties that life brings. You may wish to work with a therapist for a short period of time or you might want to build a longer therapeutic relationship. This may be your first experience of therapy or you might be returning to therapy following previous experiences. Any of these scenarios are welcome.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to decide whether we would like to work together. You can use this session to ask me anything at all about my work or about therapy. In return I will ask you to tell me something about yourself.
