About me and my therapy practice
I qualified as a counsellor/psychotherapist in 2010 after training at the Iron Mill college in Exeter. Since then I have worked in several therapeutic settings with people who are experiencing emotional difficulties for many different reasons.
I have been told by clients that they appreciate my warm, honest approach which helps them to feel genuinely heard. A safe therapeutic space allows us to speak in depth, openly and candidly, to help you find the personal insight and clarity of mind necessary to heal and move forward. Self-compassion is a huge part of this process and something I encourage everyone to nurture within themselves.
As a counsellor and psychotherapist I will not tell you what to do, your decisions are your own. I will however provide an energetic space for us to reflect on the choices you have so that you can navigate your way ahead. My work also involves a variety of creative approaches you may wish to focus on, in order to explore your sense of self.
