About me and my therapy practice
I offer weekly sessions each Monday in central Canterbury.
Since I qualified as a counsellor/psychotherapist in 2010 after training at the Iron Mill college in Exeter I have worked with hundreds of people in various therapeutic settings. They have in common a struggle with emotional difficulties, either because of recent challenging issues or stemming from painful experiences from a long time ago.
Clients tell me that they appreciate my warm, honest approach which helps them to feel genuinely heard. A safe therapeutic space allows us to speak in depth, openly and candidly, to help you find the personal insight and clarity of mind necessary to heal and move forward. Self-compassion is a huge part of this process and something I encourage everyone to nurture within themselves.
As a counsellor and psychotherapist I will not tell you what to do, your decisions are your own. I will however provide an energetic space for us to reflect on the choices you have so that you can navigate your way ahead. My work also involves a variety of creative approaches you may wish to focus on, in order to explore your sense of self and how to live with more contentment.
I look forward to hearing from you.
