About me and my therapy practice
It is important to me as well as it must be to you that your support should be tailored to your individual needs.
I work in a sensitive, supportive, and respectful way and understand that to feel able or willing to ‘open up’ a feeling of trust & safety needs to be established within the therapeutic relationship.
I am a Counsellor, and Psychotherapist with over 18yrs of therapeutic service to the local community, and further afield. I have a lifetime’s experience of working with people from all walks of life, and as a therapist or in my interaction with people in general; I am non-judgmental and supportive.
Please note that I can offer concessions to Counsellors in training.
I have worked extensively with individuals who have suffered a loss due to bereavement, ill-health or relationship breakdown.
My work also includes counselling the individual with relationship issues and people requiring help with anxiety, low self-esteem and coming out of an abusive relationship.
I also counsel individuals who have or are dealing with life-limiting illnesses like cancer and including individuals close to the person who is ill.
My practice includes therapy for individuals who require counselling around dyslexia, dyspraxia and other related neuro-diverse conditions.
