About me and my therapy practice
A graduate of Cambridge University, I was a barrister before re-training in addiction psychology and counselling.
My professional orientation is humanistic and I've counselled clients struggling with addiction, anxiety, bereavement, codependency, depression, OCD, trauma and adult survivors of child abuse.
Born in Newcastle upon Tyne I have over the years lived in Kent, Sussex, Islington and Camden. I have family connections to Sweden, Ireland, Turkey and Pakistan and I've worked in Malaysia and Sudan.
I completed my MSc Psychology with original research into eating disorders and am DBS registered. As well as being a Registered member of BACP, I am a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS).
