About me and my therapy practice

The need to talk to someone about the difficulties that we are experiencing in life is a natural and fundamental part of being human. I provide a non-judgmental space for you to explore your issues and experiences in safety and privacy. I work in a collaborative way with clients to untangle confusion and find the meaning behind emotions that may feel distressing or overwhelming. I have seen first hand the positive impact that these conversations can have on someone's life.

I am qualified in Integrative psychotherapy, which means that my training covered theory and practice from each of the main therapeutic schools. My work is based in a relational, psychodynamic approach, which means that together we explore the way in which some relational patterns, rooted in your past experiences, can colour your present.

With five years of training I am qualified to Post-Graduate Diploma level (Regent's University, 2015) and have also completed my Advanced Diploma (Regent's University, award pending). I have a particular interest in anxiety, depression and low self esteem. My practice is inclusive and I have clinical experience with issues of gender and sexual identity.

Practice description

I work online or face to face in Wimbledon, just 5 minutes' walk from the train station. 

At the start we will agree a regular day and time to meet each week as well as the expected duration, which can be flexible; long term or short term.

My first session

It is important to find a therapist who you feel comfortable with. I offer an initial 20 minute chat to discuss what brings you to therapy and how I can help. This gives you an opportunity to ensure you find a good fit before making a commitment to regular therapy.
