About me and my therapy practice
I'm an integrative psychotherapist based in London. This means I follow a few different schools of training and adapt to my client's needs. Creating a trusting and safe relationship is the foundation and then the client and I will work towards increasing self awareness, this means noticing and acknowledging the client's internal world: emotions, feelings, thoughts and memories as well as well as recognising who and what is part of their external world. I am currently very interested in the concept of acceptance and meaningful living from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) also in tune with philosophy (Stoicism and Existentialism). Although I am not a neuroscientist, I work with a strong belief in the connection of body and mind, this is were traumas and triggers will show.
I work with adults (over 18) in dealing with the the various challenges that come their way. A lot of my experience to date has been with loss, specifically through bereavement and fertility issues.
“Every one of us is losing something precious to us. Lost opportunities, lost possibilities, feelings we can never get back again. That’s part of what it means to be alive.”― Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore
