About me and my therapy practice

In these strange and uncertain times it is common and understandable to feel anxious. But when is that anxiety a problem that needs professional help? There is a lot of anxiety for everyone for differing reasons including health, loneliness, finances, practical issues, relationships. As we are all individuals we respond to our own worries in our own unique ways and some people will manage to get through this unprecedented time of our lives and others will need a bit more support. I am able to offer professional support to those that need it via telephone or video link sessions at times convenient to each person taking into account their new domestic arrangements and responsibilities. If you think this kind of support would be helpful to you now please get in touch.

I am experienced in helping clients to navigate through difficult times whilst maintaining a family life and work balance. I create a place to pause and reflect to enable you to make considered, essential and impactful decisions. My goal is that you feel more alive, more present and more the person you want to be in order to live more consciously, authentically and happily. As a parent and (former) city lawyer I am familiar with the rigours of corporate and family life and I know there are no prizes for suffering alone.

I am integratively trained so that I can offer coping strategies as well as deeper exploration about how past experiences have shaped who you are and how you now react and respond. I am a BACP registered therapist and adhere to the BACP Code of Conduct by putting my clients needs first within a confidential professional setting.

I have experience of seeing adult clients in private practice and at a day-hospice. I have specialist experience of managing life-limiting illnesses and bereavement. I am compassionate and caring and committed to the process of counselling.
