About me and my therapy practice
There are two jobs I have always wanted – owning a cafe and being a Therapist. I opened a Board Games Cafe in 2016 and then started my Psychotherapy training shortly after.
I received my Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in July 2020. I am continuing my Training to become a qualified Psychotherapist.
I have worked with people with long term health conditions, anxiety, depression, bereavement, childhood trauma and eating disorders.
I have been through therapy myself, and I know what it feels like to sit on the client’s side of the couch! I gained so much from my own therapy – and this is what inspired me to go and do my training – I want you to benefit from therapy too, to enable you to live the life you want to lead, whatever that looks like for you.
I am able to put people at ease very quickly, I am reliable and committed.
I am really interested in creative working and play, and the benefit of owning the board games cafe is that I can bring these into our work if you feel comfortable with it – from actually playing a game with you, or simply using illustrative cards for an exploratory piece of work.
