About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life is really hard, things can get on top of us and we can be overwhelmed by all the demands we have. I provide a safe and confidential space to be heard and seen, validated and understood. As an integrative psychotherapist, trained to Master Degree level 7, I will bring various therapeutic tools and skills in a compassionate way, suited to your individual needs and circumstance. My hope is that you will feel better after each session, and over time you will find ways to heal, grow and flourish. Whatever you are facing in life, whatever issue you are seeking therapy for, it would be my privilege to journey with you and offer kindness, support and concrete help.
As an integrative therapist I work with Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Person Centred Therapy in order to help you to define what feels wrong in your life, understand yourself and your circumstances better, and find concrete ways to move forward and grow as an individual. Each session lasts between 50 minutes to 1 hour, and will be a safe space for you to express yourself, find new understanding and insight, and process thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Each session will begin and end with a summary of our work together, offering an overview of the progress you are making. As and when it feels appropriate and helpful I will offer therapeutic insight, tools and skills to aid in your personal growth. I am very open to feedback and relish the opportunity to hear about your experience of therapy.
My first session
During the first session, which I offer at a discounted rate of £35, we will begin to get to know each other and develop a therapeutic relationship of trust and understanding. If you feel you would like to continue you can book in week by week or in a block, and can have a regular time each week.
