About me and my therapy practice
My goal as a counsellor is to listen to and encourage the people I work with, without judgement, empowering them to work towards creating a more fulfilling and satisfying life. I have a great sense of self awareness, due to my own journey of personal development and bring my real self to the counselling sessions. At times, it can be quite challenging to express our emotions with those closest to us and to share with them the difficulties that we may be experiencing. I offer a neutral space to explore any kind of issue, no matter how big or small and is an environment that is safe, supportive and confidential. My belief is that the therapeutic relationship is central to the counselling process and therefore I work in a way that offers warmth, empathy and integrity. I offer a supportive relationship that assists in exploring issues and encourages the development of personal growth. As every person is unique, I feel that no one type of therapy is suited to each individual, so I work with what is known as an integrative approach. Simply, this means that I integrate skills from a number of theories to enable me to offer a sensitive and professional service that is personal to each individual.

My first session
I offer a 30-minute introductory session. This is an opportunity to see if you feel I am the right person to help you move forward.
