About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome.
I'm Michelle Brown a highly dedicated trauma counselling specialist on a mission to illuminate a path to healing and empowerment. With a heart brimming with compassion and years of expertise, I've committed myself to guiding individuals through the transformative journey from trauma to triumph.
About Me: I am deeply passionate about empowering survivors to reclaim their narratives, finding strength in vulnerability and fostering an empowering resilience that knows no bounds. With a background rooted in psychology and a spirit fuelled by empathy, I offer a safe, nurturing space where healing is not only a goal but a tangible reality.
My Approach: I am an integrative therapist blending evidence based therapies with a holistic person-centred approach. We all have unique lens' through which we see the world based upon our experiences so it follows we will all need to work in different ways. I believe in genuine connection and provide unwavering non-judgemental support. Together we will curiously explore the many layers of your experience and unearth your inner strength towards a healthier more connected existence.
I believe that the relationship you build with your therapist will be far more important than the modality of counselling used. Will you feel safe enough to peel of the layers and delve down deep enough to curiously explore what is holding you back or keeping you stuck in unhelpful patterns of behaviour? I aim to provide that safe space.
I continue to build my knowledge through regular CPD and through researching for writing and have a special interest in trauma and how our experience of it may lead us to go into hiding and stop us from living in an authentic way.
I hope this has given you some idea of my practice and my outlook on life but do have a look at my website for more information and if you have any further questions please feel free to get in touch.
