About me and my therapy practice

  • Do you feel you are never good enough or have you lost your self-worth?
  • Are you a people pleaser and always put others first?
  • Are you an ADHDer or think you might be?
  • Do you want to regard ADHD with compassion and acceptance?

I started my own therapy as I was fed up feeling depressed and not good enough, I wanted something to change. Sitting with a therapist who I learned to trust and who really listened with empathy and compassion was so powerful for me. I was able to accept all the parts of myself and realise I was actually OK.

"My drive to become a therapist has always been to give my clients the amazing and life changing experience I had in my own therapy."

Practice description

I am a BACP registered counselling therapist with proven experience supporting a diverse range of clients in private practice, education and the community.

I have helped a lot of adults with low self worth, perfectionism and imposter syndrome feel better about themselves.

I work in an affirming way with ADHD.

This means we will work together to see ADHD as a difference not a disorder,  I can help you to view yourself and ADHD with compassion and kindness.

I have lived and professional experience of adult/late diagnosed ADHD and can help you process your own ADHD self-diagnosis/diagnosis.

I have a particular interest in working with daughters of narcissistic/ emotionally absent mothers and the long term impact of childhood emotional neglect on depression and self esteem.

I have experience of working with the following:

  • Depression
  • Low mood
  • Low self-esteem
  • Low self-confidence
  • Imposter Syndrome
  • High expectations and perfectionism
  • Anxiety, generalised anxiety, social anxiety
  • Emotional neglect
  • Attachment
  • Shame
  • Trauma
  • ADHD in adults
  • Family relationships
  • Work related stress
  • Pregnancy
  • Parenthood

I have a degree in Psychology alongside a CPCAB Dip Couns gained over 4 years of in depth training,

I continue to add to my own professional development with training in depression, shame, avoidant attachment, trauma, co-dependency and ADHD/Neurodivergence.
