About me and my therapy practice
I work with individuals over 16 who maybe feeling anxious, overwhelmed, guilty, frustrated, sad, or stuck. I offer support by listening, offering my thoughts and observations from what I have heard. This can help to see things from a different view point and make things feel clearer.
If you are feeling like something needs to change in life, I can support you. I can't offer advice, what I can offer is:-
A chance to explore choices;
What it might be like to choose them;
What it may feel like to choose them;
What might be getting in the way of a certain choice.
Life can throw many different challenges for us to make our way through. It can leave us feeling lost, anxious, stuck, guilty, frustrated, or sad. I understand that it may feel like you are not able to talk to those around you. This may be because you don't want to burden them, you may worry about how they might respond, or that you might upset them. Counselling gives space and time to process your feelings and focus on yourself.
One of the areas that I have a special interest, and extensive experience in is supporting parents and carers. I understand that holding a caring role can feel overwhelming especially as you are likely to be trying to balance it alongside other aspects of your life, such as work, family or looking after your own needs. It may feel lonely and isolating. The situation you are in may leave you feeling low, anxious or stuck.
I also support people who are finding it a challenge to look after their own needs. This may be due to anxiety, grief, stress or finding a change in life difficult to adapt to. I work with people to help them introduce a better balance into their lives and recognise their importance.
As we are all individuals we will all see and experience things in a different way. I believe it is important to have the opportunity to be heard. Please do get in contact to see how we can work together.

About me and my therapy practice
Do you notice you feel overwhelmed ? Would you like to be able to say no and not feel guilty ? Are you around people but not able to let them know how you are feeling because you worry you will upset them ? Working online or face to face in West Sussex I support people to free themselves up from their worries, frustration and build up their confidence to be able to make choices for themselves.
