About me and my therapy practice

Now offering face to face - with Teenagers, children and Adults. I will listen empathically to your story and work with you every step of the way to help you overcome your struggles which you may be facing.

I am an experienced Senior Integrative Counsellor which means I work with a range of therapies including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Person Centred Therapy and TA (Transactional Analysis). The therapy can be devised to best suit your needs and is very much bespoke, you can then ‘create your own therapy’ pathway.

I am passionate about working in a collaborative way in order for you to have a greater understanding of ‘self’ and enable you to overcome any distresses in life which may be holding you back.

I offer a free telephone consultation which will enable you to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

After your initial contact with me I will endeavor to get back to you within 24 hours.

Practice description

I have my own therapeutic space for clients to feel safe an can offer either face to face counselling or counselling via video link (zoom, skype etc).

I am also employed part time as a Senior Integrative Therapist.

Specific passions of mine are working with Teenagers, Children and Adults, also Domestic Abuse, Therapeutic Life Story Work and Teenage Parenting. I also have a passion for working with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and gender issues.

Life for a teenager can be a real struggle for themselves but also for the parents too. I have experience in working with a child's indentity, helping them to accept themselves and understand other. Neurodiversity can also be a struggle, I work with adults/teens who may have a formal diagnosis, who are undiagnosed or 'not sure'. I take time to get to know you and work with you to find an approach which suits your individual needs.

I have extensive knowledge and experience of working with Domestic Abuse whether a victim or a perpetrator, adult or child and I am qualified and experienced in delivering the Freedom Programme for Women and the Freedom for Men.

I also have extensive experience of delivering Surviving Teenage Parenting courses and can support families to regain that lost connection.

Another specialism of mine is working with adopted children, I am experienced in completing Therapeutic Life Story Work to enable the child to have a greater understanding of their life so far but in a safe space at their own pace. The completed life story book is a true treasure for life.
