I am an accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. The latter accreditation involved substantive training and a period of apprenticeship which I fulfilled whilst implementing a randomised controlled trial in an NHS Hospital.(Kellett.et al 2018) I provide CAT supervision groups as an external consultant to NHS Adult Mental Health services and private supervision for therapists via zoom in the Far East, mainland Europe and the United Kingdom.

Practice description

I offer pragmatic supportive and developmental clinical supervision in the cognitive analytic model,  this is a relational integrative model.  Together we may consider the underlying psychodynamic processes of client presentation, the impact on the therapist and self care as well as parallel process. I developed researched and published a model of music theory called cognitive analytic music therapy . I can help supervises to develop their own style, practice and evidence based services. Further enhancing their range of skills through understanding  non-verbal communicative and creative aspects
