About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified therapist working in private practice in North London. I have an NHS background, having worked as a therapist in the IAPT service. During my time in the NHS I worked with a very wide and diverse range of people of all ages, from all backgrounds and walks of life.
On my website (www.talkingcuretherapy.com), you will be able to read more about me, my background and the way I work, as well as more information about what therapy is, and how the process works in the FAQ and articles section. I have an interest in attachment theory and psychodynamic frameworks, and work in an integrative way, based on the needs and best interests of the person in front of me. I try to create a warm, empathic, non-judgemental and confidential atmosphere as a safe place for exploring thoughts, feelings and everyday challenges which may be causing worry, anxiety, depression or distress.
I practice in North London (N4), and centrally in Liverpool Street (EC2M). Fees vary depending on the day, time and location, from £60 to £80. I also offer online sessions, however, it is preferable to start with some in-person sessions if possible. I offer a half price initial introductory session with no obligation to continue. Sessions last 50 minutes, and are at the same time each week. For more information see www.talkingcuretherapy.com
