About me and my therapy practice
I work with an integrative approach drawing from mainstream theoretical perspectives. As an integrative counsellor I use the insights and techniques from a range of counselling approaches to help provide a unique therapy for each client’s individual needs. .
The process of grief is widely misunderstood and often underestimated. I specialise in enabling people to adjust following bereavement and loss, focusing on what it is like to be human in a world where time to process grief is usually very limited.
I practice in a private room which is in a local community centre. The centre is centrally located, within walking distance of the main line railway station or, if travelling by car, parking is available.
My first session
I offer all potential clients an initial free half-hour telephone consultation. At our first full session, I will explain my confidentiality policy, take contact information from you and a brief history and details of what has brought you to counselling.
