About me and my therapy practice
I am an enthusiastic and friendly individual, trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and supporting a range of different issues for therapy. Exploring your life Perspective is key to finding solutions, support and encouragement in all of the changes and challenges we are often faced with. Providing clients with tools and skills to independently move through life issues and traumatic events.
Trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, confidence, self esteem, parenting, young adult issues and various challenges confidently and confidentially dealt with together.
Supporting the understanding and challenges of Autism within families and individuals lives is a passionate focus of mine due to life experience.
Online and telephone platforms of contact are presently the most suited option for meeting and available for day time and evening appointments. Office meetings 1:1 after government restrictions due to Covid-19 are lifted are available also.
Therapy sessions with myself last 50 minutes - 1 hour unless arrangements are made for something else. Starting on a weekly basis and under constant review to best suit the needs of each case.
We will examine, explore and find new strategies for dealing with your presenting issue.
I offer an empathic, respectful and transparent service that provides new strategies for becoming your best self and making the changes that you will come to understand are getting in the way of living your best life.
My first session
Our first session together will mostly be gathering information, getting to know each other and an introduction into the therapeutic methods of CBT .
Once I have an understanding of what issues you are facing I will provide an estimate on time frames and session goals for progressing to the achieved target. Contracting will then be based on the agreement of both parties once these discussions have taken place.
