About me and my therapy practiceLets find a way. I can support you as you find a new way forward through whatever it is that has you considering counselling. I know that new way forward must be according to what is important to you as an individual, and I can support your process of thinking/feeling your way forward. Sometimes, the most important think is just to relate the story of your life, other times, to think strategically in order to tackle a particular problem - very often, it's a bit of both!
I have been working as a counsellor for over eight years now, my initial training was psychodynamic at post-graduate level, along with person-centred bereavement support work. Before I became a counsellor, I worked for many years in teaching, NHS admin and worked for nine years as a Samaritan volunteer. As well as my private counselling practice, I also work as a supervisor for Cruse Bereavement Care and I also provide services for funerals.
Your first appointment with me is free of charge, and I work in Blackheath, south London.
