About me and my therapy practice

I understand the courage it takes to reach out, and as such, I offer you commitment, warmth, acceptance and a confidential space to support you in your journey. I believe that our individual experiences are unique and therefore my focus will be solely on you and your needs.

As a qualified and registered (MBACP) Counsellor and Psychotherapist, it is my hope that together, we can seek to make sense of your experiences that have led you here today, and to help you reach your solutions to bring about the changes you wish for.

I work with Women from many backgrounds in varying counselling environments within Services, Private Practice and a Specialist Domestic Abuse Charity. Whatever your circumstances or difficulties, you can be certain that I provide professional counselling with sensitivity, respect and without judgement.

In addition to my counselling qualification, I have over 15 years experience, working extensively with Vulnerable adults in a variety of health, end-of-life and social care settings; and with Children with social, emotional and mental health needs within specialist education.

Practice description

With the support of a skilled Counsellor, therapy has the capacity for change, providing you with the essential elements that can clear the way, for greater well being, functioning and meaning in your life.

The relationship between the Counsellor and Client is often where these changes begin. Finding the right Counsellor that you can relate to, feel listened and heard, is crucial. Having the right connection will enable for you to be yourself and ultimately get the most out of therapy.

I encourage you to meet with a few counsellors before deciding on who feels right for you and to trust your instinct in the process.

My practice is based in Central Tonbridge from a comfortable and discreet office, within close walking distance from the train station and nearby car parks. It is accessible from surrounding areas of Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells.

I also offer Online Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My first session

I offer a free telephone consulatation to discuss what you may like to work on and for us to get a feel of what it would be like to work together.

An initial session will involve learning a little about your history and current situation, your aims and expectations of counselling and to think about whether what I offer is appropriate for your needs. It allows time for any questions you might have to be discussed and how we would work together, should we decide.

Please feel free to contact me with your enquiry, by phone, email or text. I aim to respond to new client enquiries within 48 hours (please check your spam folder).

Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Psychosynthesis, Transactional analysis
